I'm from Australia going to Singapore,I am taking my laptop, how can I use internet over there?
If hotels offer free wifi? do I need anything special?

Some hotels do offer free wifi or have it bundled into their prices. You have to check with the hotel you are staying in We also have the Wireless@SG initiative where most of the shopping centres are wired up with free wifi. just look for the Wireless@SG ssid. You probably need to sign up (stupid thing for a free service, I always forget my user id and password and have signed up at least twice) More info at the website: http://www.ida.gov.sg/Programmes/2006102.
