How will I use a US Wii and laptop when I go to Singapore this summer, since they have different voltage there
Do I need an adapter, and, if so, are they safe to use, and is there a chance of damaging my equipment? I also have a DS, which charges by plugging into the wall. Also, where could I find such an electrical adapter.

Answer 1 :
Yeah, you'll need an adapter. WalMart carries them in the luggage aisle. You can get them at the shops in some airports too, but they're more expensive there.
Answer 2 :
laptop ususally come with switching power suppplies so the only thing you ned is a physical adapter to the local wall socket as the adapter works from 100 to 250 V . i do not know whether the wii uses an switching power supply. if it does not, you need to convert the voltage to what it is expecting using a transformer. a good place is http://www.world-import.com/ You will also need to make sure the tv can handle the signal from the wii. most recent tv can display any tv signal (PAL/SECAM/NTSC)
