Answer 1 :
get a converter which converts 110 volts to 220 volts...thats what i do when i go to india hope this helps
Answer 2 :
dont get what u mean.. 220volts?? 3pin plugg??
Answer 3 :
Go to Radio Shack or Walmart Luggage area and buy a converter kit. Not to expensive. It will tell you on the package it can be used everywhere in the world. I would leave the curling irons at home and buy local. Small electrical items are very cheap. Have a good trip. Cheers
Answer 4 :
You'll need a 13-amp plug (3 pin), specifically, BS1363 plug.
Answer 5 :
Laptops will automatically convert AC110 to AC240. As for curler, unless its meant for travelling or has a switch to change from 110V to 240V, then u can use that. In Singapore we use AC240. Singapore uses UK standard 3 pin plug. Anyway, you can always borrow it from the hotel, I always do that. Enjoy shopping
Answer 6 :
Hi, I had the same question and with my research I found out that Most laptops dont need the power converter. You will only need the appropriate plug (adapter) to use it in Singapore. Just to double check Look for the voltage necessary for the laptop (it will be on the rectangular block of the power supply cord). You should see something like 100-240V. This means you can use any power source that has voltage in that range. And for Curling iron get the adapter with 1600 Watts. Note that 50 watts converter is no good for Curling iron. I brought one today from Ebay for $16.00. In store its more costly. following is the one I brought. It comes with plugs too

Does the Economy class on Asiana Air/Singapore Air or Korean Air have power supply for laptops
Does the Economy class on Asiana Air/Singapore Air or Korean Air have power supply for laptops?
Iam going on a trip to Korea in about a month and i was thinking about taking my laptop with me....but My laptop doesnt have good battery so it would die out. so i found this power adapter thing on amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QFL... But when i did a small research, it seems like it only works on business/1st class. i was curious if the power supply is provided in ECONOMY class rather for Asiana/Singapore or Korean Air. thanks in advance. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QFLWC4/ref=cm_pdp_rev_itm_img_1

Asiana only has power ports in Economy on one of their two configurations of the Boeing 747. However, it's regular 110V AC power, which should accept a standard US or European plug. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Asiana/Asiana_Boeing_747-400_full.php Singapore airlines has laptop power supplies on a few of their planes: The A340 has power ports in economy. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Singapore_Air/Singapore_Air_Airbus_A345.php All the seats on the A380 have AC power as well as USB. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Singapore_Air/Singapore_Air_Airbus_A380.php The newest of the fleet's Boeing 777 aircraft (777-300ER) have AC power in economy. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Singapore_Air/Singapore_Air_Boeing_777-300ER.php On Korean Air, some aircraft have been updated to have power for select economy seats. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Korean_Air/Korean_Air_Boeing_747-400_combi.php The 777-300 has power for every other economy seat. http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Korean_Air/Korean_Air_Boeing_777-300.php

Hi there, They shouldn't be any cheaper there. They might be even more expensive then in other countries like the US or countries in Europe. Unless you go to a sony outlet, factory, or discount store. P.S. Sony's are great computers and the best windows out there but if your going to spend that type of money but a MAC

You can try Acer support itself. They would charge you but they do repair. Alternative is Sim Lim Square. You can approach the notebook shops there.
