Is there a strict policy on laptop computers entering singapore?
Mine has a genuine OS in it but the hardware doesn't have a sticker on it. Will this be an issue? Thanks guys.

Answer 1 :
You can bring your laptop with or without an stickers. The only thing they will ask you to do at the airport is to unzip your laptop bag and pass thru the scanner. After that, nobody cares about your laptop.
Answer 2 :
You can bring your laptop with you and it should go through the scanner for safety check. In singapore you should have genuine software installed and if you caught with pirated software it is punishable. You should know that singapore is a very strict country and you can't tell them "I don't know"
Answer 3 :
Take out the battery and put it in your check-in among a lot of stuff. Or better yet, make sure the battery is dead and hide your charger so in case they do want to look through it, no can do. I've entered singapore over 5x and have never had my laptop checked, but I hear that if you are caught with pirated software or even porn anywhere on your computer, you'll get in trouble. But, if your software is genuine and it just doesn;'t have a sticker, don't worry about it. the chances theyll search you are also very slim.
Answer 4 :
Declare yr items.
Answer 5 :
Nope. Singapore customs do not check whether your OS is genuine or not. That is not their job. I travel frequently with my laptop and can safely say they never check it other than to put it through the x-ray machine (with my other luggage)
